WHEEL Network is the result of the cooperation of Libyan and European Universities in the WHEEL Network project, co-funded by the European Commission through the Erasmus+ Programme, under contract number 598610-EPP-1-2018-1-IT-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP (2019-0015/001-001). 

During the implementation of said project, partners have benefited from fruitful exchange of knowledge and receive relevant training which latter has been replicated within the Libyan partners, with the ultimate aim of modernising the higher education sectors in aspects such as institutional governance, quality assurance, or funding, among others.

Libyan partners are willing to continue this work by benefiting from the formal and informal cooperation schemes created during the lifetime of the project, by consolidating them into a Network.
